Apple Day Saturday 10th October 2026

£0.00

Saturday 3rd October & Saturday 10th October
12 noon – 4pm

Ever wondered what actually goes into making cider?

Come and spend an afternoon with us at Hydes Cyder and see the cider-making process in action as we turn this year’s apples into juice and, eventually, cider.

We’ll be washing, milling, pressing and juicing apples, before taking the fresh juice through into our fermentation tanks.

You’ll get to see what happens behind the scenes, meet the team, ask questions, talk cider and, of course, taste the freshly pressed apple juice.

🍎 BRING US YOUR WINDFALLS

Got apples going spare?

You can drop your windfalls off with us before the event or bring them along on the day. We’ll put them to good use!

THERE’S PLENTY TO EAT & DRINK

We’ll have pulled pork baps, sausages in rolls and other tasty bits available, along with Hyde Cider on tap and a selection of other drinks.

And if you haven’t tried it yet, this is your chance to taste our newly launched Hydes SPYCED — our 3.4% spiced cider with cinnamon, creamy vanilla and sweet gingerbread notes.

BRING THE FAMILY

It’s a family-friendly afternoon, and well-behaved dogs are very welcome too.

There are some great walks straight from the taproom, so why not make an afternoon of it?

Entry is FREE, but spaces are limited, so please reserve your tickets online.

Come along, get stuck in, meet the team and see what really goes into making cider at Hydes.
